Different water stress treatments were applied to vines (Vitis vinifera L) cv Pedro Ximenez during the season 2007/08, in an experimental plot at IFAPA Cabra Center, with the aim of assessing the effect of different amounts of irrigation on yield and must quality relating them to plant water status. The treatment T1 was irrigated with an amount of 60% of the crop evapotranspiration (ETo) from set to veraison and 40% ETo from veraison to harvest. The T2 was irrigated with an amount of 40% ETo from set to veraison and 20% ETo from veraison to harvest.
