The application of NGS technologies has increased enormously the availability of genomic resources for species in aquaculture allowing the development of new biotechnological tools for implementation in aquaculture. This work shows an example of the application of some biotechnological tools such as RNA-seq, microarray and Openarray to the study of low salinity culture effects on early development of sole larvae. We identified 31.075 y 40.192 differentially expressed genes using RNA-seq between larvae incubated at 10 and 36 ppt at day 1 and 3 day after hatching.
