This course will address the pathophysiology of endocrinological and metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and diseases of the respiratory system. We will study the phenomena that produce alterations in human physiological function and the processes within the body that result in signs and symptoms of the disease. Additionally, we will address clinical exercise testing, prescription, and training for clinical populations according to recommended guidelines. Pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, exercise testing, and evidence-based treatment will be presented for the selected conditions
