Includes bibliographical references (leaves 76-78)At the easternmost point of the Mediterranean Sea and the western edge of the Middle East, Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, is a mix of disparate cultures. This mix created a unique atmosphere in Lebanon as the cultural gateway from the East to the West. Unfortunately, this diversity has also repeatedly led to conflicts. In the West, the images of these conflicts dominate in the media. This project is a video documentary that presents a different view of Lebanon, one that reveals the vibrant, eclectic music scene in Beirut and the imp01iant role that it plays in the Lebanese society
