The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between role models, adult supervisor, and substance use and obesity among Hispanic adolescents. The California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) 2011-2012 Teen Data File was used in this study. Various analyses were conducted to examine the relationship between socioeconomic status, age, gender and obesity. Variables that had a statistically significant relationship with obesity were also studied. This study suggests that male respondents were more likely to be obese than female respondents.
