A traineeship guide for marriage and family therapy students

This graduate project offers a comprehensive Marriage and Family Therapy student fieldwork handbook to be used preceding and during a traineeship for California State University, Northridge students. The review of the research literature presents an overview of the most crucial aspects of the Marriage and Family Therapy student's traineeship in order to help the student locate an agency that will both fulfill the requirements of the university as well as gain the most from their real world experience in the field. The Handbook provides the fieldwork students with practical and theoretical knowledge as it relates to their traineeships as part of their graduate work. The Handbook includes sections on an explanation of the fieldwork experience, a list of approved field sites (including orientation of the field site, types of supervision and training available, minimum hours required and population served), a compilation of the appropriate forms that need to be filled out, and examples and explanations of how to fill out the required paperwork
