Much of the existing research on Campus Racial Climate focuses on comparisons between various racial/ethnic groups. However, there is little research on the differences that exist between Caucasian/European/White students and Students of Color as a group. Sixty-eight students from California State University Northridge answered a questionnaire about their perceptions of the Racial Climate on their campus. The survey collected demographic information as well as information about various elements that set the tone for the racial climate on campus. The present study did not find a negative Campus Racial Climate at CSUN, however, the findings indicated that the perceptions of Students of Color were more negative than those of Caucasian/European...
