An introduction to program evaluation : a workshop for school administrators

Includes bibliographical references (leaves 49-52).In direct response to increasing demand for school accountability by parents, policymakers and educators, program evaluation is a tool that school administrators can use to provide evidence of the impact of educational programs on student outcomes. A careful review of literature revealed few resources that administrators can use to orient themselves to the practice, application, and potential benefits of the use of program evaluation in this regard. The Introduction to Program Evaluation Workshop was developed as a first step towards filling the gap in existing resources that promote increased understanding and use of program evaluation by school administrators
