Dreams about flying

Dreams about Flying is a travel memoir that spans my life, my parents??? lives, and the lives\ud of my grandparents and great-grandparents who left the Old World for the New World in the early 20th century. My own experiences of leaving home are described through a series of vignettes beginning with my childhood and adolescence in Northern California, when I started dreaming about flying to begin with. Personal and family history serve as a backdrop for a set of adventures that ultimately brought me to the countries of my ancestors??? births and inspired me to fall in love with (and in) one of them
