Includes bibliographical references (pages 44-45)Presented is an analysis of extreme limb photometer (ELP) data obtained at the San Fernando Observatory in 1982. Examination of facular regions at 525 nm reveals an increasing contrast from ?? =.19 to ?? =.11, where ?? is the cosine of the heliocentric angle ??. The contrast ratio of 1.51 ?? 0.23 fits the ??-1 dependence observed by Klabunde (1981), and indicates a need to reexamine facular models that predict a decreasing contrast.
