Metamorphosis documentation of an artistic process

Includes bibliographical references (page 42)The following document outlines my search for a better\ud understanding of my artistic process.\ud Over the period of a year, I carefully documented my\ud work, before, during and after my creative process to\ud discern the links between my subconscious and conscious\ud selves and my art.\ud This process was elaborate and painstaking. In the\ud end it revealed levels of my artistic process that I had\ud not analyzed prior to this search.\ud This project was exciting to me because of how my\ud search metamorphosed. At its inception my plan was documentation\ud of my artistic process over a period of time. \ud This documentation, however. changed during the time\ud period of investigation and developed into an artistic\ud process and a body of work that was self-supporting without\ud documentation. The analysis led me from a broad process\ud to a very specific product which I felt no longer needed to\ud be analyzed.\ud What occurs on the following pages is documentation of\ud my transition from a very personal process of the self-analytical\ud kind to my focus on a very finite art product
