Includes bibliographical references (page 44)The purpose of this project was to investigate multigrid\ud techniques as applied to the solution of Navier-Stokes\ud equations. Use of this technique has been shown by many authors\ud to provide much faster numerical solutions to problems\ud involving partial differential equations than is possible\ud using single grid approaches. A computer program was developed\ud during this project and was demonstrated to be partially\ud successful in employing the multigrid technique. Software\ud was successfully generated to provide converged solutions\ud on single grids and to provide grid-to-grid transfers\ud of variables.
