In this paper I explore how online space becomes a site where mixed race Asian\ud Americans??? visual and audible productions of self engage Asianess and\ud Blackness. I will look at the self-representations of mixed race Black and Filipina\ud Americans and the reactions from online viewers to these productions on the\ud popular site YouTube. Thus by projecting their identities into the public sphere,\ud their mixed race bodies also function of sites of justification, contestation, or\ud representation of their race(s)/ethnicity (-ies) by others.
