The present study aimed at extending Hardy et al.???s (2005) study on potential\ud disadvantages of high social cohesion in sports teams. The researcher explored this study\ud in an organizational context by quantitatively testing Hardy et al.???s proposed hierarchical model, which related levels of cohesion to several possible group pitfall variables.
