Easy to access, clear-cut demarcations of memory are the most common modes of\ud approach, for the rememberer, a process of drawing out specific events, emotions, places\ud and information directed towards the needs of the present. Still, other kinds of memory\ud remain - memories having nothing to do with ???what took place??? - but modes of memory\ud concerned with affects, ghosts, and ephemera that always-at-once hover above and below\ud the remembered event.
