Graduation date: 2007Between 1927 and 1930 the Nevada Contracting Company of Fallon, Nevada constructed the Zion Tunnel and a portion of the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway in Zion National Park, Utah. During the construction approximately 200 workers lived at the contractor's camp, known today as the Nevada Camp. This camp, a temporary work camp, was dismantled upon completion of the construction project and the site was cleaned to the National Park Service landscape preservation standards. Rules and standards set forth by the National Park Service subjected the Nevada Camp site to a substantial cultural transformation process.
