Participaram da pesquisa nove l?deres que tenham atuado na Pastoral da Crian?a a partir de 1990. Foram selecionados de maneira intencional tr?s sujeitos que iniciaram suas atividades entre 1990 a 1999, tr?s entre 2000 a 2009 e tr?s que iniciaram suas atividades a partir de 2010. Para a coleta de informa??es foi utilizada a entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado. Para a an?lise das informa??es foi utilizada a t?cnica de an?lise de conte?do, por categoriza??o tem?tica. A an?lise das entrevistas proporcionou o desvelar da atua??o do l?der da Pastoral da Crian?a, possibilitando identificar as percep??es atribu?das sobre o trabalho volunt?rio e sua atividade, os principais motivos atribu?dos a permanecia, como eram recebidos pelas fam?lias que acompanhavam e as percep??es atribu?das ?s atividades de trabalho na atualidade, comparativamente com as atividades realizadas entre os anos 1990 a 2017. De acordo com a metodologia proposta nesta pesquisa, as an?lises e discuss?es foram apresentadas segundo categorias e subcategorias. No decorrer das an?lises foi percebido que as l?deres reconhecem a import?ncia do trabalho por elas desenvolvido e que se sentem felizes e realizadas em participar da Pastoral da Crian?a. No que se refere a perman?ncia os principais motivos encontrados foram relacionados a valores altru?stas e a perman?ncia e foram declarados como incondicionais, no que se refere aos entraves encontrados no passado foi relatado a falta de material e de recursos financeiros, sendo que para super?-los usavam de medidas criativas e contavam com a solidariedade da comunidade. J? no presente os principais entraves estavam relacionados a problemas como a falta de compromisso, interesse e vis?o assistencialista por parte das fam?lias e alta rotatividade e menor n?mero de volunt?rios. Na vis?o das l?deres o sucesso alcan?ado pelas a??es da Pastoral da Crian?a se deu principalmente pela motiva??o dos volunt?rios envolvidos em cumprirem os objetivos estabelecidos. O presente estudo trouxe ? luz aspectos importantes relativos ?s a??es de trabalho da Pastoral da Crian?a que poder?o subsidiar novos estudos e/ou estrat?gias que busquem fortalecer as a??es de cidadania, educa??o e sa?de na regi?o e nas comunidades.Disserta??o (Mestrado Profissional) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Sa?de, Sociedade e Ambiente, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2018.This is a qualitative, descriptive, case study which has as its main goal identify, analyse and unveil the attributed perceptions of the volunteer leaders who work at the Child?s Pastoral in the Archdiocese of Diamantina, Minas Gerais. Nine leaders who worked in Child?s Pastoral, since 1990, participated in this research. We intentionally selected subjects who had work in different periods, in this case, three subjects who started their activities between 1990 and 1999, three subjects from 2000 and 2009, and three who started working after 2010. To collect information, a semi-structured interview was used. For the analysis of the information was used the technique of content analysis, by thematic categorization. The interview analysis will propitiate unveiling the performance of Child?s Pastoral?s leaders. It will make possible to identify the perceptions attributed to volunteer work and its activities, the major issues found to execute them and the main reasons for their permanency. Also, how they were received by the families that accompanied and the attributed perceptions to the work activities nowadays compared to the activities carried out between 1990 and 2017. According to the proposed methodology, the analysis and discussions will be presented as categories and subcategories. During the analysis we could realize the leaders acknowledge the importance of the developed work and they feel happy and fulfilled for taking part at Child?s Pastoral. Regarding permanence, the main reasons were related to altruistic values and permanence and were declared unconditional, concerning past obstacles, they reported lack of material and financial resources. To overcome the problems they needed creative measures and count on community solidarity. In contrast, at the present moment the problems are regarding lack of commitment, interest and assistentialist point of view from the families, high turnover and fewer volunteers. At the leaders' view the success of the actions of Child?s Pastoral was mainly due to the motivation of the volunteers involved in fulfilling the established goals. The present study enlightened important aspects related to the work actions of Child?s Pastoral which may support new studies and / or strategies that seek to strengthen citizenship, education and health actions in the region and its communities
