Dress and\ud fashion are important in promoting a positive image and in\ud use as a rehabilitation tool. The audio-visual presentation, "Fashions for\ud Independent Living," was developed and evaluated, through\ud the use of an opinionaire, to determine its effectiveness\ud in introducing clothing adaptations for a variety of\ud disabling conditions. The presentation was presented for\ud evaluation to fifty-four people who had either some\ud knowledge of sewing or some knowledge of the clothing\ud problems of the disabled.
