Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) are people under 18 years old who\ud exchange sex for financial purposes. This is a secondary data analysis of face-to-face,\ud structured interviews with CSEC conducted as part of a larger, multi-site study to\ud discover the size and characteristics of this population. Fourteen interviews with SF Bay\ud Area youth under 18 years of age who had ever traded sex for money or other resources\ud were analyzed and coded using thematic analysis to find out how they engaged in\ud commercial sexual exploitation and how they felt about their experiences.
