Special enphasis is given to & noª linear beam equation which extends a model proposed by Holmes-- Marsden by including an unbounded term\'depending on the paramg ter. . . The main tools used are Alternative Method with an appropriate Fredholm Alternative, Uniform Contraction Principle and Semiqroup Theory
