Includes bibliographical references (pages 37-40)To examine the effects of sex of subject, self-esteem, need for social\ud approval, and type of educational experience on self-disclosure, 90\ud subjects, who were enrolled in either an Introductory Psychology\ud class or a Group Lynamics class, completed the Marlowe-Crowne Social\ud Desirability Scale, the Janis-Field Feelings of Inadequacy Scale,\ud and the Jourard Self-Disclosure Questionnaire. A 2 x 2 x 2 x 2\ud analysis of variance revealed two significant main effects.
