Research literature is reviewed on\ud maternal sensitivity, attachment, differing childrearing\ud styles and temperamental differences among infants. The\ud groups are described with respect to their initiation and\ud organization, the leader's goals, and the interaction among\ud the children and the parents. The progress of the two\ud groups is discussed and the nature of each parent/infant\ud dyad is summarized.
