During adolescence, concerns relating to ethnicity shift from learning about ethnic labels\ud to understanding the significance of group membership and cultural traditions. The ability\ud to form an ethnically diverse friendship network enhances success in an ethnically diverse society. The purpose of this study was to explore if ethnic identity and parents??? ethnic socialization affect biracial and multiracial adolescents ethnic peer choice in the same manner as monoracials.
