A grant proposal to support International Social Work Education: study tour program to El Salvador

The purpose of this project was to propose a potential International Social Work Education (ISWE) study tour program in El Salvador. This study tour was created by three Master's students for CSULA social work peers. This author created a grant proposal to support the program that was designed to expose students to learn about three social issues and to increase cultural awareness. This project highlights the lack of study abroad programs for social work students and offers a first step to increase the availability to students who otherwise do not have the opportunity. Given that CSULA social work students are a mixture of ethnic minorities, this project is unique because it was designed keeping in mind such diversity
