Includes bibliographical references (pages 48-53)The dietary habits of Korean and American students were investigated through a questionnaire and a 24-hour dietary recall method.\ud A study of the meal patterns of Korean and American students showed that an average of approximately 60 per cent of them ate three meals every day. When the students ate away from home, over one half of the total students used cafeteria.\ud Among the Korean students, over two-thirds of them did not like American food but they ate American food because of convenience, because it was easy to carry and because they thought that it was nutritious.
