Women of color are at the forefront of environmental justice and just sustainability\ud movements, yet their leadership and contributions have been marginalized in the\ud academy. Some scholars have highlighted the role that low-income women of color play\ud on the grassroots level, yet little attention has been given to women of color working\ud within non-profit organizations. My research locates women of color non-profit leaders at\ud the center of analysis in order to capture their core philosophies and experiences as they\ud actively bridge social and ecological justice.
