Kinesiology Program Review 2011/2012 Memorandum of Understanding

Includes two documents: 1) a cover letter from Vice-Provost Cynthia Rawitch to President Jolene Koester and Sylvia Alva, Dean of the College of Health and Human Development and; 2) a memorandum of understanding (MOU) from the Office of the Provost outlining commendations and recommendations for the department as expressed by the external reviewers, Terry Rizzo and Penny Mccullagh.The CSUN Department of Kinesiology housed in the College of Health and Human Development, offers an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Kinesiology. The Department undertook a self-study (submitted Fall, 2009) followed by an external review on December 1 and 2, 2010. The external reviewers were Dr. Terry Rizzo of California State University, San Bernardino, and Dr. Penny Mccullagh of California State University, East Bay. The Department???s MOU meeting occurred on September 25, 2011. Follow-up will occur at one and three years. Their next program review cycle will culminate in a new self-study, external review, and MOU in AY 2016-2017
