Estudos morfométricos, monitoramento hídrico e levantamento de impactos na sub-bacia hidrográfica do Rio Catolé, Bonito de Minas-MG

A área de estudo possui 700,05 km² e está localizado na Sub-Bacia Hidrográfica do rio Catolé, que tem características bem definidas, composta por uma rede de drenagem formada por veredas, inserida dentro da Área de Proteção Ambiental Estadual do rio Pandeiros. Destaca-se na região, por ser a maior Unidade de Conservação de uso sustentável de Minas Gerais, que busca a compatibilização da conservação com o uso sustentável dos recursos hídricos. Quanto aos métodos e material, foram utilizados: as cartas topográficas base da APA Pandeiros, na escala 1:100.000, softwares especializados, como AutoCAD Map 2.0, para a confecção de mapas temáticos da área da sub-bacia, onde foi possível o cálculo dos variados índices morfométricos, que são: coeficiente de compacidade, fator de forma, índice de circularidade, área de drenagem, perímetro dentre outros. Estapesquisa procurou identificar e interpretar, por meio de dados quantitativos, o comportamento da rede de drenagem também das microbacias compostas por veredas, cuja necessidade surgiu da falta de estudos referentes a essa região. Assim, os resultados dos parâmetros morfométricos evidenciaram que a sub-bacia hidrográfica em estudo possui forma alongada, possibilitando uma menor tendência a enchentes; a densidade de drenagem apresenta-se baixa, o que resulta em um menor escoamento superficial, ou seja, o terreno apresenta um bom grau de infiltração, demonstrando que a área de estudo apresenta uma baixa tendência a enchentes. Analisando as microbacias, todas apresentaram índice de densidade drenagem baixo e identificaram-se três propícias a enchentes, devido à sua geomorfologia, à declividade, à exposição do terreno e à declividade média do rio principal, o que indica um provável comportamento hidrológico da região e sugere a necessidade de um manejo específico para cada uma delasThe use of morphometric method in the study watershed is in a complementary way to explain the interactions of the drainage network that occur between all elements of the landscape.
