It was published in 1756. Even though the Treatise was written several centuries ago it is still very useful for the violinists and violin teachers today. Even though our instruments, violin and bow, have changed since the time book was written, most of technical and musical aspects of violin playing remain the same up to this day. My work includes analysis of Leopold Mozart???s Violinshule, reviews of the book and letters written by Leopold Mozart.
