A importância da adoção de medidas preventivas (projeto/execução) na redução da ocorrência de manifestações patológicas em sistemas de revestimento

Por este motivo deve-se garantir a qualidade e durabilidade dos revestimentos. O surgimento de patologias nos revestimentos vem sendo estudado há muito tempo, porém percebe-se que apesar dos diversos estudos e análises de manifestações patológicas, as mesmas ainda ocorrem com freqüência. Esta dissertação estuda as causas destas constantes patologias e discute sobre métodos preventivos baseados em normas existentes. Para isso é realizada análise quanto às características individuais dos materiais e mistura destes aos demais componentes dos revestimentos, considera-se também questões relacionadas ao sistema de revestimento e preparo da base, a importância da realização de projeto para revestimentos e importância da qualidade da mão de obra, evitando-se a junção de falhas, já que as patologias ocorrem geralmente pela ocorrência de uma série de erros.Para realização destas avaliações realizou-se revisão bibliográfica para um breve levantamento de informações sobre o tema, e em seguida a análise de alguns estudos de caso envolvendo patologias nos revestimentos, destacando-se o caso da igreja São Francisco de Assis, conhecida como igrejinha da Pampulha, que durante anos sofreu com o surgimento de manifestações patológicas nos revestimentos, sendo necessários diversos estudos para resolução definitiva do problema. Ainda são relacionadas algumas patologias com ocorrência em edificações residências unifamiliares, multifamiliares,comerciais e de uso público, obtidas a partir de avaliações realizadas pela autora.The coatings of mortar and smooth plaster are widely used in construction, these being the first impression of the buildings, providing for recovery of property or depreciation when presenting pathologies. The emergence of pathologies in the coatings has been studied long ago, but it is noticed that despite various studies and analysis of pathological manifestations, they still occur frequently. This dissertation studies the causes of these diseases and constant discusses preventive methods based on existing standards. For this analysis is performed as the individual characteristics of these materials and mixing the other components of coatings, we also consider issues related to the preparation and coating of the base system, the importance of performing design for coatings and importance of quality hand work, while avoiding the addition of failure, since the conditions generally occur in the event of a variety of errors.
