Atividades investigativas: oportunidades de construção de conhecimentos em Química

Leciono há 17 anos e desde que ingressei no magistério tive o interesse em pesquisar práticas que poderiam favorecer o aprendizado de conceitos químicos. Sempre me preocupei em conhecer os principais problemas no ensino de Química relatados na literatura especializada e tenho tentado construir formas de superar essas dificuldades. Em 2011, comecei a estudar referenciais teóricos sobre o ensino de ciências por investigação. Tais pesquisas indicaram que a realização de atividades investigativas para abordar alguns tópicos em Química pode contribuir para a construção de conceitos importantes nesta disciplina. Assim, percebi que essa proposta pode ser uma oportunidade de estimular um maior interesse dos estudantes em aprender química, bem como favorecer a construção de conhecimentos de forma adequada. Assim, reconstruímos atividades, que já faziam parte da minha prática como docente, com base em referenciais teóricos da área de Ensino de Ciências por Investigação e do Ensino de Química. Tais atividades foram testadas em sala de aula pelo professor autor pesquisador e por um professor de Química da rede pública de ensino com o qual se realizou reuniões para discutir sobre suas impressões do material, sobre as dúvidas que surgiram durante o desenvolvimento das atividades, sobre o desempenho dos alunos e as sugestões para o aprimoramento das mesmas. Os dados evidenciaram dinâmicas discursivas próprias do ensino de ciências por investigação, o que possibilitou uma análise inicial das interações discursivas entre alunos e professor. A proposta de trabalho favoreceu a aprendizagem de conhecimentos de Química quando consideramos as respostas de algumas questões que requerem o uso dos conceitos trabalhados. Assim, considerarmos que as atividades desenvolvidas disponibilizaram ferramentas culturais que mediaram a construção do conhecimento de alguns conceitos químicos favorecendo a sua apropriação. As atividades reelaboradas fazem parte de um livro com assessoria pedagógica, apresentada no anexo dessa dissertação, construído com base nas discussões que permearam esse trabalho.I teach high school Chemistry in schools of public and private network in city of Belo Horizonte. I have 17 years since I joined the teaching had an interest in researching practices that could promote the learning of chemical concepts. Always I bother to know the main problems faced in teaching chemistry reported in the literature and have been trying to build ways to overcome these difficulties. In 2011, I began to study theoretical references about the teaching of science by inquiry. This research indicated that conducting inquiry activities to address some topics in chemistry can contribute to the construction of important concepts in this discipline. So, I realized that this proposal could be an opportunity to stimulate greater interest of students in learning Chemistry, and to promote the construction of knowledge properly. Thus, we reconstruct activities that are already part of my practice as a teacher, based on theoretical framework of science education area for Research and Teaching of Chemistry. Such activities were tested in the classroom by the teacher author researcher and a professor of chemistry of the public school system with which was held meeting to discuss their impressions of the material on the doubts that arose during the development of activities on student performance and suggestions for improving them. During the analyzes of the data were detected own discursive dynamics of educational research in science which allowed the analysis of the discursive interactions between students and teacher. The working proposal may have favored the academic performance of students when we consider the answers to some questions that require the use of the concepts discussed through the activities. Thus, the activities may have functioned as cultural tools that mediated the construction of knowledge of some chemical concepts favoring its ownership.
