In this article we present an instrument to assess collaborative learning environments mediated by ICT, with predominantly asynchronous communication, which had as its starting point the model developed by Murphy (2004). Such a model is emerging context interaction and collaboration as triggering elements to be developed a favorable climate for joint development of knowledge. These elements represent a continuous process and evolution that can be viewed through the following stages: i) social presence, ii) articulating individual perspectives; iii) host or reflecting the views of others; iv) Co-construction of shared perspectives and meanings; v) construction of shared goals and purposes, and vi) Producing shared artefacts.
