A internet como contexto de produção textual: possíveis implicações para o ISD

The objective of this paper is to raise the debate, within SDI, as to whether it is relevant to take into consideration, into its epistemological assumptions, themes related to cyberspace linguistic practices, which have both theoretical and methodological implications. We try to reinstate the importance of enunciation in its power of explaining the theoretical locus of action and emotion, in linguistic studies of socio-cultural and psychological meaning, through a “series of heuristic hypotheses which allow us to understand the frequency or the absence of certain linguistic units in the analyzed texts, with the objective of studying the effect of communicative situations on the workings of language” (Machado, 1998). In our case, we have chosen hypertext as a textual organization which constitutes, par excellence, the text of cyber culture as a communicative situation. The proposed theme, from a SDI approach, can be understood with the use of five assumptions which have respective epistemological and methodological implications which will be briefly presented at the end of the paper due to lack of space. Key words: virtual environments, socio-discursive interactionism, production context.O objetivo deste texto é colocar em debate, no ISD, a pertinência da inserção de temas relacionados com práticas lingüísticas do ciberespaço em seus pressupostos epistemológicos, com implicações teóricas e metodológicas. Reafirmamos aí, a importância da enunciação em seu poder de elucidar o lugar teórico da ação e da emoção, nos estudos lingüísticos das significações sócio-culturais e psicológicas, através “de um conjunto de hipóteses heurísticas que permitem compreender a freqüência ou a ausência de certas unidades lingüísticas nos textos analisados , com o objetivo de estudar o efeito das situações de comunicação sobre o funcionamento da língua” (Machado,1998). Em nosso caso, elegemos o hipertexto como a organização textual que constitui,por excelência, o texto da cibercultura como situação de comunicação .O tema proposto em uma abordagem do ISD é compreendido a partir de cinco pressupostos com respectivas implicações epistemológicas e metodológicas a serem apresentados no final e que serão brevemente apresentadas , devido às restrições de espaço.
