Development of a learning object for teaching concepts of probability

To this end, we rely on the Theory of Meaningful Learning of Ausubel and Papert's constructivist and theoretical. We work with a group of third grade high school of a local school in the interior of Pernambuco. The methodology used in this research was based on studies of qualitative research, participant observation, and the method chosen was the case study. The results indicate changes in effective communication and interaction between the components of the classroom and a significant improvement in the teaching and learning, enabling you to the student to participate in building their own knowledge, which favors a better acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities on the concepts of probability.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo desenvolver um Objeto de Aprendizagem e investigar sua utilização no processo de ensino de conceitos de probabilidade. Para tanto, apoiamo-nos na Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa de Ausubel e na Construcionista de Papert como referenciais teóricos. Trabalhamos com uma turma de 3ª série de Ensino Médio de uma Escola Municipal do interior de Pernambuco. A metodologia empregada nesta pesquisa foi baseada nos estudos sobre pesquisa qualitativa, com a observação participante, e a modalidade escolhida foi o estudo de caso. Os resultados apontam mudanças efetivas na comunicação e na interação entre os componentes da sala de aula e uma melhoria significativa no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, que dá condições ao estudante para participar da construção de seu próprio conhecimento, o que lhe favorece uma melhor aquisição de conhecimentos, competências e habilidades sobre os conceitos de probabilidade
