Parâmetros como o albedo, índices de vegetação, temperatura da superfície, saldo de radiação, situação hídrica regional, considerados importantes para o conhecimento e monitoramento dos recursos naturais, podem ser obtidos através das técnicas e produtos de sensoriamento remoto disponíveis até o momento. Dentre estes parâmetros, destaca-se a temperatura da superfície terrestre, pois possui uma ação determinante sobre o crescimento e o desenvolvimento das plantas, influenciando muitos processos físicos, químicos e biológicos, apresentando uma grande relevância científica em um vasto campo das atividades de pesquisa e gerenciamento dos recursos naturais, assim como o balanço de radiação e energia. Neste contexto, neste trabalho é explanada e aplicada uma metodologia para a determinação da temperatura de superfície e para a estimativa do balanço de radiação e de energia para uma das bacias hidrográficas do estado da Paraíba em diferentes períodos de tempo, e também utilizou-se a mesma metodologia, para analisar variações de temperatura de superfície em alguns centros urbanos do estado em diferentes períodos.The remote sensing has become an increasingly viable alternative for the study and monitoring of natural resources in countries with large dimensions, like Brazil. Parameters such as albedo, vegetation indices, surface temperature, net radiation and the situation of water resources, which are considered important variables for understanding and monitoring of natural resources, can be obtained through the techniques and the products from remote sensing available so far. Among these parameters, the temperature of the earth's surface has been highlighted, because its decisive action on the growth and development of plants, influencing many physical, chemical and biological processes, showing a great scientific relevance in a wide range of research activities and natural resources management. In this context, this work presents a methodology for determining the temperature of surface and for estimating the radiation balance and energy to one of the basins of the state of Paraíba, in different periods of time.
