No primeiro, foram determinadas as contribuições da cinética eletródica aos fenômenos da evolução gasosa associados com a voltagem total de etetrólise, 0 segundo estágio e o mais extenso foi relacionado com as variações na resistência do eletrólito devido à retenção gasoso, das bolhas de gás na Solução, Se encontrou que o calor produzido pelo efeito Joule na célula mostrou um efeito Importante sobre a retenção gasosa, devido à dependência, com a temperatura das propriedades do eletrólito. 0 efeito de aquecimento foi aproveitado paro. calcular a fração em volume do gás no eletrólito em diferentes condições. Na terceira etapa, foram conduzidos estudos para analisar o efeito da evolução gasosa do hidrogênio sobre a velocidade transferência de massa da redução de K3Fe(CN) no eletrólito, Um estudo semelhante fel efetuado para elucidar o efeito da evolução gasosa do oxigênio sobre a velocidade de transferência de massa da oxidação de K4Fe(CN).Foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre sistemas de gases eletrolíticos e a aplicabilidade de esta, e os resultados obtidos deste estudo foram discutidos para o projeto de reatores eletroquímicos.A theoretical and experimental study of an electrochemical system was carried out in order to produce the gases, in order to elucidate the important parameters in the design of an electrochemical reactor. In the third step, studies were carried out to analyze the effect of hydrogen gas evolution on the mass transfer rate of K3Fe (CN) reduction in the electrolyte. A similar study was carried out to elucidate the effect of gaseous evolution of oxygen on the velocity of mass transfer of K4Fe (CN) oxidation. A literature review on electrolytic gas systems and the applicability of this was done, and the results obtained from this study were discussed for the design of electrochemical reactors
