Quanto a metodologia, a pesquisa se deu com base em material já publicado, como livros, artigos técnicos-científicos, fotodocumentação e legislações vigentes sobre o objeto de estudo, já no estudo desde campo, utilizou-se os métodos de AIA: Ad Hoc (Método Espontâneo), Check Lists (Listagens de Verificação) e Matriz de Interação. Sendo assim, com base nas informações obtidas, observou-se que todos os impactos ambientais significativos foram considerados adversos, temporários, reversíveis e mitigáveis. Os impactos positivos considerados mais importantes, estão diretamente associados aos aspectos socioeconômicos local por meio da condição de geração de emprego e renda, bem como ao meio antrópico, direta ou indiretamente, ligado aos municípios inseridos na área de influência de estudo, além de favorecer o incremento de novas atividades de produção, como o desenvolvimento local da agropecuária e industrial. Entretanto, observou-se também alguns impactos ambientais negativos quais sejam: desmatamento, queimadas, revolvimento de solo e expansão da fronteira agrícola. Em sua grande maioria, estes impactos são considerados como de pequena magnitude, ação temporária e reversíveis ao meio ambiente. A implantação de medidas mitigadoras, compensatórias e/ou de controle ambiental, contribuem de forma significativa para atenuar e/ou compensar os impactos negativos gerados. Dessa forma, conclui-se que tal estudo permitiu uma visão geral das consequências ou benefícios que tem as atividades na área de influência estudada, pois o mesmo poderá servir de subsídio na elaboração de planejamentos que visem o desenvolvimento local, minimizando os impactos negativos e otimizando o desenvolvimento socioeconômico e ambiental.The objective of this study was to evaluate the environmental impacts (positive and / or negative) in the waters of the Rio do Peixe - PB Sub-Basin and its effects on agroindustrial production. As for the methodology, the research was based on already published material such as books, technical-scientific articles, photodocumentation and current legislation on the object of study, already in the study from the field, was used the methods of AIA: Ad Hoc ( Spontaneous Method), Check Lists, and Interaction Matrix. Therefore, based on the information obtained, it was observed that all significant environmental impacts were considered adverse, temporary, reversible and mitigable. The positive impacts considered to be most important are directly related to the local socioeconomic aspects through the condition of generating employment and income, as well as to the anthropic environment, directly or indirectly, linked to the municipalities inserted in the area of ​​influence of study, besides favoring the new production activities, such as the local development of agriculture and industry. However, some negative environmental impacts were also observed: deforestation, burning, soil disturbance and expansion of the agricultural frontier. For the most part, these impacts are considered of small magnitude, temporary action and are reversible to the environment. The implementation of mitigating, compensatory and / or environmental control measures contribute significantly to attenuate and / or compensate for the negative impacts generated. Thus, it is concluded that such a study allowed an overview of the consequences or benefits that have the activities in the area of ​​influence studied, since it can serve as a subsidy in the elaboration of plans that aim at local development, minimizing the negative impacts and optimizing socioeconomic and environmental development
