Foi nesse período em que os grupos instrumentais de louvor, compostos por guitarra, contrabaixo (ou baixo), teclado e bateria, passaram gradativamente a participar dos ditos "momentos de louvor" com cânticos que ficaram popularmente conhecidos como corinhos. Com base neste indício lançamos o seguinte problema: por que a introdução deste novo formato musical causou tanta inquietação nos participantes de tais comunidades eclesiásticas, especialmente por parte do público mais idoso? Dividimos a pesquisa em três capítulos, onde analisamos num primeiro momento a "música evangélica tradicional" e a "música evangélica contemporânea", num segundo momento as letras de algumas canções e num terceiro momento um evento evangélico denominado "Cantinho da Paz" e a relação dos fiéis com a mídia. Discutimos a temática a partir do conceito de artes de fazer de CERTEAU (2003), da noção de herança de RICOEUR (1997) e do conceito de autonomia de CASTORIADIS (2007). Pela escassez de bibliografia específica a história oral foi um dos recursos metodológicos para estudar esta história local.Until the middle of 80's years, churches linked to historic protestantism in the city of Campina Grande (presbyterian, congregational, baptist and methodist), allowed in their services only hymns or songs that had the same sound's landscape. During this period of time, instrumental worship groups, using guitar, bass, keyboard and drums, gradually began to take part of those "worship moments" with songs that became popularly known as corinhos. Based on this evidence we release the following problem: why the introduction of this new music format has caused so much anxiety in the participants of such ecclesiastical communities, especially by the older audience? We divided the search into three chapters, where we look at the first place the "traditional gospel music" and "contemporary gospel music", in second place the lyrics of some songs and in third place an evangelical event called "Cantinho da Paz" and the relationship of faithful people with the media. We discussed the theme from the concept of art to make of CERTEAU (2003), the concept of inheritance of RICOEUR (1997) and the concept of autonomy of CASTORIADIS (2007).
