Includes bibliographical references (pages 28-30)A simplified computer solution for laminar film condensation with forced flow and noncondensables (air-steam) present was modified to include variable wall temperature and extend the solution beyond the boundary layer separation point to the bottom of a horizontal cylinder. Local condensation heat transfer rates for isothermal and variable wall temperature distribution based on experimental results up to an angle of 90?? on the cylinder were compared to an experimental work and to a numerical boundary layer solution for the stagnation point.\ud 1.
