PSY 840: Seminar in Personality and Social Psychology

This seminar is designed to offer an overview of major topics and theories of both classic and contemporary interest in personality and social psychology. For personality psychology, this will include psychoanalytic, humanistic, behavioral, and trait perspectives. For social psychology, this will include social thinking, social influence, and social relations. Through readings and class discussions, we will consider the role of the individual and the environment, and their dynamic interaction. We will also consider applications of personality and social psychology to health, law, and education
