Tephrosia candida D.C. e Mimosa velloziana Mart : biomassa, serapilheira e fertilidade do solo

É necessário assim, gerar conhecimento sobre técnicas para realizar tal procedimento. Dentre elas a revegetação do local a partir de espécies com potenciais de inserção de matéria orgânica e eficientes na ciclagem de nutrientes, torna-se promissor no caso das leguminosas. É indispensável o conhecimento de tais características desejáveis nas espécies. Diante disso, este estudo teve por objetivo estudar parte da ciclagem de nutrientes (biomassa e serapilheira) em duas espécies de leguminosas (Tephrosia candida e Mimosa velloziana) e na Floresta de Tabuleiros, e caracterizar quimicamente o solo. As leguminosas e a Floresta de Tabuleiro estão estabelecidasa sob Argissolo Amarelo Distrocoeso em Linhares, ES. A biomassa acima do solo das leguminosas foi compartimentalizada em: folhas, ramos e ramos secos para Mimosa; e folhas, galhos com diâmetro superior e inferior a 2 cm, e galhos secos, para a Tefrósia, sendo quantificada a biomassa e os nutrientes. Avaliou-se ainda a serapilheira acumulada nas leguminosas e na Floresta de Tabuleiros e seus nutrientes, na estação chuvosa e seca; e a qualidade química do solo nas profundidades de 0 – 5, 5 – 15 e 15 – 30 cm. Verificou-se que a Tefrósia apresentou a maior produção de biomassa acima do solo, sendo compartimentalizado nas folhas, os maiores teores de nutrientes. A biomassa da serapilheira acumulada não foi influenciada pelas estações de seca e chuva, sendo encontrado maior valor na área com Mimosa. O nitrogênio foi o nutriente com maior teor na serapilheira, seguido por cálcio > magnésio > potássio > fósforo > manganês > boro > zinco > cobre. A Floresta de Tabuleiros apresentou o solo com menor teor de nutrientes, sendo os maiores teores de nutrientes encontrados na camada superficial. Os sítios onde estão estabelecidas as leguminosas apresentaram semelhança quanto à fertilidade do solo. Não foi verificada a superioridade de uma espécie de leguminosa, apresentando em ambas as espécies, potencial para inserção em projetos de recuperação, de acordo com seus processos de ciclagem de nutrientes.Recovering an area is to make it productive again, either for conservation or production. Among them the revegetation site from species with potential insertion of organic matter and efficient nutrient cycling, becomes promising in the case of legumes. It is essential to the understanding of such desirable traits in species. Therefore, this study aimed to study nutrient cycling in two legume species (Tephrosia candidaandMimosa velloziana) and Tableland Atlantic Forest, and characterize soil fertility. The vegetation cover is established under Yellow Red Oxisol in Linhares, ES. The aboveground biomass of legumes was compartmentalized into: leaves, branches and dried branches for Mimosa, and leaves, and branches with a diameter greater and less than 2 cm, and dry branches, for Tefrosia, being quantified biomass and nutrients. It was also evaluated the litter accumulated in legumes and Tableland Atlantic Forest and its nutrients, in the rainy season and drought and soil fertility in the depths 0-5, 5-15 and 15 - 30 cm. It was found that the Tefrosia showed the highest production of biomass above ground, the leaves being compartmentalized the highest levels of nutrients. Litter biomass accumulated was not influenced by the dry and rainy seasons, being found more value in the area with Mimosa. Nitrogen is the nutrient with the highest content in the litter, followed by calcium> magnesium> potassium> phosphorus> manganese> boron> zinc > cuprum. The Tableland Atlantic Forest presented the soil with lower nutrient levels, with the highest levels found in the surface layer. The sites which are established legumes presented similarities regarding soil fertility. Not verified superiority of a legume species thus presenting in both species, potential for inclusion in restoration projects, according to their processes of nutrient cycling
