Mães da Pietà: a experiência de mães que perderam filhos na perspectiva da logoterapia e análise existencial.

Mourning for a child is an intense and profound experience, capable of prolonging for a long time. The present work had as general objective to understand the experience of the loss of a child, in the perspective of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. Specifically, it had as objectives: to understand the process of mourning, the tragic triad and the technical logo; to describe the maternal mourning, the coping strategies after the loss of a child and their relation with sense / values; and to investigate the importance of spirituality, the axes of meaning and existential values among group participants. It is a qualitative research in the perspective of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. The instruments used in the research were the narrative interview from the perspective of Walter Benjamim and the field journal of the researcher. The research started with a triggering question: "How did you experience losing a child?" and ancillary questions. The participants are part of a group of women, in a city in the interior of Paraíba, that lost their children. This group is entitled "Mães da Pietà", inspired by the work of Maria da Pietà by the artist Michelangelo. For the study, an intentional sample of nine participants was used. The analyzes were based on Minayo’s content analysis technique and from the theoretical perspective of Viktor Frankl, data were also used referring to the researcher's field diary. The research has found that some mothers feel guilty about the loss of their child. In addition, the pain of loss has changed the way they see the world; it was also evident that the spiritual actions became more present in the daily life of these mothers. It was possible to identify that, in most cases, the families became more consolidated and the desire to help other bereaved mothers was also strengthened. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the actions developed in the Mães da Pietà group were of great value in the restructuring of mourning, since such actions helped to overcome the "pain without name".A mãe que perde um filho pode ser afetada por graves consequências, as quais podem repercutir em sua vida social, familiar, conjugal e individual. O luto por um filho é uma experiência intensa e profunda, capaz de se prolongar por muito tempo. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo geral compreender a experiência da perda de um filho, na perspectiva da Logoterapia e Análise Existencial. Especificamente teve como objetivos: compreender o processo de luto, a tríade trágica e a logotécnica; descrever o luto materno, as estratégias de enfrentamento após a perda de um filho e suas relações com sentido/valores; e investigar a importância da espiritualidade, dos eixos de sentido e dos valores existenciais entre participantes do grupo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa na perspectiva da Logoterapia e Análise Existencial. Os instrumentos utilizados na pesquisa foram a entrevista narrativa na perspectiva de Walter Benjamim e o diário de campo da pesquisadora. A pesquisa partiu de uma pergunta disparadora: “Como foi para você a experiência de perder um (a) filho (a)?” e perguntas auxiliares. Os participantes fazem parte de um grupo de mulheres, em uma cidade no interior da Paraíba, que perderam seus filhos. Tal grupo intitula-se “Mães da Pietà”, inspirado na obra Maria da Pietà do artista Michelangelo. Para a realização do estudo foi utilizada uma amostra intencional de nove participantes. As análises foram fundamentadas na técnica de análise de conteúdo de Minayo e na perspectiva teórica de Viktor Frankl, também foram utilizados dados referentes ao diário de campo do pesquisador. A pesquisa obteve como principais resultados o fato de algumas mães se sentirem culpadas pela perda do seu/sua filho (a). Adicionalmente, a dor da perda mudou a sua forma de enxergar o mundo; também ficou evidente que as ações espirituais se tornaram mais presentes no cotidiano dessas mães. Foi possível identificar que, na maioria dos casos, as famílias ficaram mais consolidadas e também foi potencializado o desejo de ajudar outras mães enlutadas. Assim, é possível concluir que as ações desenvolvidas no grupo Mães da Pietà foram de grande valia na reestruturação do luto, uma vez que tais ações ajudaram a superar a “dor sem nome”
