Texto e contexto : implicações no ensino da língua materna

This study was accomplished with base in the theoretical-methodological referencial discussed by Kock (2000); (2003a); (2003b); (2003c); (2004a) and (2004b); Travaglia (1997) and (2004) and Marcuschi (2000) and (2004). Thus, it traces a way of the interests by the studies of the language, in the several historical moments, discussing the different language conceptions and its relationship with the teaching of the language. Considering the text as object of teaching of the language, comes, the contribution of the National Curriculares Parameters / Portuguese Language countersigned by the Textual Linguistics that presents an orientation for the analysis of texts. For the accomplishment of the research, it was used documental analysis and of interview done with the teachers of the school research field. The data collected for half of those instruments they showed as significant and valid in the sense of understanding the proposals of teaching of the language in the context of the school. Finally, the analysis of those datums allows to affirm that, in the school, the text is not used indeed about unit of teaching and, consequently, it doesn't objectify the development of the its students' talkative capacityEsta dissertação trata do ensino da Língua Materna oferecido pela escola pública e parte da seguinte questão: como o ensino da Língua Materna nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental, que tome por princípio o uso do texto, pode contribuir para com a competência comunicativa dos alunos no sentido de dominar o código oral e escrito da língua? Este estudo foi realizado com base no referencial teórico-metodológico discutido por Kock (2000); (2003a); (2003b); (2003c); (2004a); (2004b); Travaglia (1997) e (2004) e Marcuschi (2000) e (2004). Assim, traça-se um percurso dos interesses pelos estudos da linguagem, nos diversos momentos históricos, discutindo as diferentes concepções de linguagem e sua relação com o ensino da língua. Considerando o texto como objeto de ensino da língua, apresenta a contribuição dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais / Língua Portuguesa referendada pela Lingüística Textual que apresenta uma orientação para a análise de textos. Para a realização da pesquisa, utilizou-se da análise documental e de entrevista feita com os professores da escola, campo de pesquisa. Os dados coletados por meio desses instrumentos manifestaram-se como significativos e válidos no sentido de compreender as propostas de ensino da língua no contexto da escola. Por fim, a análise desses dados permite afirmar que, na escola, o texto não é efetivamente usado como unidade de ensino e, conseqüentemente, não objetiva o desenvolvimento da capacidade comunicativa de seus aluno
