Venezuela, United States and Colombia: diplomatic crisis between and a strong economic interdependence

In regard of Venezuelan and U.S relations is possible to see that throughout the XX century they changed profoundly, representing a truly inflexion period with the pos-cold war era. Generally, Venezuela was an important international actor because of its external politics activism and also its energetic resources, being an important piece for the regional stability. The economic bonds with the United States are, in great part, a consequence of the Great Industrial Potency considerable energetic demand in the XX century and the fact that Venezuela is not just a great oil producer but also a great exporterEste trabalho objetiva analisar as contradições e inflexões nas relações diplomáticas e comerciais da Venezuela em relação aos Estados Unidos e a Colômbia. No que se refere às relações entre Estados Unidos e Venezuela, percebemos que ao longo do século XX elas se alteraram profundamente, representando o período Pós-Guerra Fria uma verdadeira inflexão. De uma maneira geral, a Venezuela foi um importante ator internacional por seu ativismo em matéria de Política Externa e pelos seus recursos energéticos, sendo também uma importante peça para a estabilidade regional. Os vínculos econômicos com os Estados Unidos são, em grande medida, consequência da considerável demanda energética da primeira potência industrial do planeta ao longo do século XX e do fato da Venezuela ser, não apenas um grande produtor de petróleo, mas exportador da maior parte de sua produçã
