Educação e direitos humanos: uma reflexão a partir da escola

This article aims to reflect on the topic of the right to education from the perspective of the human rights. It is a qualitative study, based on bibliographic review, with the hermeneutical analysis of the data. The study evidenced that the right to education needs to be understood and actualized in the light of other the human rights. In addition, the school can assist in the education of the new generations on the bias of respect and of the exercise of the human rights by education for dialogue, solidarity and democracy.Este artigo objetiva refletir sobre o tema do direito à educação desde a perspectiva dos direitos humanos. Trata-se de um estudo de caráter qualitativo, baseado em revisão bibliográfica, com análise hermenêutica dos dados. O estudo evidenciou que o direito à educação necessita ser compreendido e efetivado à luz dos outros direitos humanos. Além disso, a escola pode auxiliar na educação das novas gerações no viés do respeito e do exercício dos direitos humanos mediante a formação para o diálogo, a solidariedade e a democracia
