The senses of the city

O artigo trata da cidade simbólica. Apresenta pistas epistemológicas para compreender a cidade como uma experiência sensória nos seus arranjos simbólicos e cultural. Aqui propomos um caminhar pela cidade explorando-a pela perspectiva do indivíduo, do ser, do corpo. Tratamos da experiência dos cinco sentidos no contexto da cidade: audição, visão, olfato, paladar e tato, e propomos uma construção de sentidos entre os sujeitos que se comunicam na cidade e entre o sujeito e a cidade.Palavras-chave: Comunicação. It presents epistemological clues to understanding the city as a sensory experience in its symbolic and cultural arrangements. Here we propose a walk through the city exploring it from the perspective of the individual, of the being, of the body. We deal with the experience of the five senses in the context of the city: hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch, and we propose a construction of meanings between the subjects that communicate in the city and between the subject and the city.Keywords: Communication.
