This thesis is linked to the Group of Studies on Universities (GEU) and to the research line "Training, knowledge and professional development" of the Graduate Program in Education, Federal University of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This thesis defends to be possible for the administrator teacher to constitute his (self) training and knowledge in the process of professional teacher development and in the dialogue between the specificities of the Administrative Sciences and Education.
