Da UDN ao DEM: Discurso e Poder

No. of bitstreams: 1 Clecio Paulo Carneiro Filho.pdf: 3636456 bytes, checksum: 8d75ba20376860123aa83f7232b34bf1 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2019-03-29This dissertation, inscribed in the research line Power and Representations, analyzes the ideological changes of the National Democratic Union (UDN) during the process of historical restructuring and renaming of the legend for National Renewal Alliance (ARENA) from 1966 to 1979 during the regime military, Social Democratic Party (PDS) from 1980 to 1986, from the last military government to the transition period, Party of the Liberal Front (PFL), from 1986 to 2007, from redemocratization, and when the party announces a renaissance , now as Democrats, nomenclature that remains to this day. Demonstrates the remodeling of the party to adapt to the historical moments, due to the election results, becoming a party of the catch all type. Thus, methodologically we make a comparative analysis between the electoral results and the speeches given by its main leaders, when possible parallels with what happened in the State of Goiás. The main cut will be from 1985 to 2007, however, due to the historical basis of these parties are the UDN, we will also analyze how in the historical period the discourses use their foundational base. Due to internal needs, the party was recreated in the process of valuation catharsis and by the influence of external historical factors, using new means of communication to make and propagate politics, mainly using discourse against corruption and family ambition for power.Esta dissertação, inscrita na linha de pesquisa Poder e Representações, analisa as mudanças ideológicas da União Democrática Nacional (UDN) durante o processo de reestruturação histórica e mudança de nomenclatura da legenda para Aliança Renovadora Nacional (ARENA), de 1966 a 1979 durante o regime militar, Partido Democrático Social (PDS), de 1980 a 1986, a partir do último governo militar ao período de transição, Partido da Frente Liberal (PFL), de 1986 a 2007, a partir da redemocratização, e quando o partido anuncia um renascimento, agora como Democratas, nomenclatura que permanece até os dias atuais. Demonstra as remodelações do partido para se adaptar aos momentos históricos, em função dos resultados eleitorais, se tornando um partido do tipo catch all. Desse modo, metodologicamente fazemos uma análise comparativa entre os resultados eleitorais e os discursos proferidos pelos seus principais líderes, quando possível fazendo paralelos com o ocorrido no Estado de Goiás. O recorte principal será de 1985 a 2007, no entanto, em razão da base histórica desses partidos serem a UDN, também analisaremos como no período histórico os discursos recorrem à sua base fundacional. Devido as necessidades internas o partido recriou-se no processo de catarses valorativas e pela influência de fatores históricos externos, utilizando-se de novos meios de comunicação para fazer e propagar a política, principalmente, usando o discurso contra a corrupção e a ambição familiar pelo poder
