Pescando memórias na praia do Paquetá

For this purpose, it was sought: to ascertain who are the fishermen of Praia do Paquetá, their origin, age composition, gender and activities that they develop in the community; to analyze participatory processes and community organizations to which they belong. This paper fits into the Research Line of Memory, Culture and Identity, having as benchmarks the assumptions about social memory, governance and social mobilization. The research is of qualitative nature and the methodological approach was based on the methodology of oral history. It was conducted thematic interviews with 12 fishermen and the data were analyzed and interpreted following the content analysis technique, in the thematic modality. As results, it points to the formation of links between fishermen and the river, as well as its perspective on the past, present and the future of the village. This portrait of yesterday and today of the fishermen and the village is recorded in the book "Fishing Memories in Praia do Paquetá", the final product of this work. Esta pesquisa tem como tema central os pescadores da Praia do Paquetá e as atividades que desenvolvem neste povoado, a partir de suas memórias. Nesse intuito, buscou-se: verificar quem são os pescadores da Praia do Paquetá, sua origem, composição etária, de gênero e atividades que desenvolvem na comunidade; analisar os processos participativos e organizações comunitárias das quais fazem parte. O trabalho se insere na Linha de Pesquisa Memória, Cultura e Identidade, tendo como balizadores os pressupostos sobre memória social, governança e mobilização social. A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo e o percurso metodológico se fundamentou na metodologia da história oral. Foram realizadas entrevistas temáticas com 12 pescadores e os dados obtidos foram analisados e interpretados seguindo a técnica de análise de conteúdo, na modalidade temática. Como resultados, aponta-se para a formação dos elos entre os pescadores e o rio, bem como sua perspectiva sobre o passado, o presente e expectativas para o futuro da localidade. Este retrato do ontem e do hoje dos pescadores e do povoado fica registrado no livro “Pescando Memórias na Praia do Paquetá”, produto final desta dissertação
