Os escritos ora engendrados discutem a demanda essencial por uma outra produção de alimentos, ancorada em princípios e valores coerentes com o anseio coletivo pela saúde do organismo, da natureza e da sociedade, tendo em vista a superação da insustentabilidade da agricultura convencional em relação à qualidade do ambiente.The conventional production of food or agribusiness, based on an essential distortion of the value of food for the real needs of humanity, health, quality of life and its exchange value as a product which represents a source of wealth in the capitalist production, has imposed an unhealthy diet, full of contaminants and production residues, upon the human beings. This paper discusses the essential demand for another type of food production which is not only based on principles and values consistent with the collective yearning for the health of the body, nature and society, but also aims at mitigating the unsustainability of conventional agriculture regarding the quality of the environment
